  Community Fundraising

No need to be a professional fundraiser to raise money for a great cause. Community fundraising empowers individuals like you to fundraise on behalf of McLean Hospital. With a little bit of help from us, you can turn your passion into a meaningful way of supporting McLean. Using this online platform, you create an individual fundraising page, the proceeds of which will advance our mission of improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness.

The options are endless – you choose! From marathons to lemonade stands and from dinner parties to car washes, you can get creative, have fun and help us change lives … all at the same time.

  Specific Events

   Celebrate

Got a big day coming up? Birthday? Wedding? Graduation? Any special occasion will do. Ask your friends and family to support McLean as they celebrate you.

         Move

Looking to get into shape? Perhaps you have always wanted to run a road race, organize a Walkathon or join a cycling event. Let your efforts support McLean.

  Commemorate

Would you like to pay tribute to a loved one? Do you wish to express gratitude toward a McLean staff member or program that meaningfully impacted you or your family? We would be honored to help you recognize those individuals, while also raising awareness about the importance of mental healthcare.

McLean Hospital reviews and approves all community fundraising events, and our office may reach out with further guidelines depending on the nature of your event.

Impact

Unrestricted giving is particularly meaningful for McLean, as it provides critical resources that enable us to address the hospital’s most pressing needs and launch promising new initiatives that would not otherwise have been possible. We always encourage unrestricted support. You can, however, also designate your philanthropy to our divisions. If you have questions, please contact Benjamin Ogilvy at bogilvy@mgb.org or 617.855.3623.
